Traditional Ruler, Main Illicit Drug Supplier

A Third Class traditional leader who is approximately in his early 60s is detain for drug peddling. He is detain by members of the Guider Gendarmerie Brigade in the Mayo Louti division of the North region. The security guards disclose that he was detained while carrying a large amount of India hemp. He was apprehended about distributing drugs.

To reduce marijuana’s impact in the society, the Brigade forces are persuading the traditional ruler to disclose his sources and distribution network.
