Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022: Fans Must Refrain From 8 Social Activities

Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022: The assertion that FIFA or the government of Qatar has produce a list of the eight “behaviours” to avoid during the 2022 World Cup. Drinking alcohol, homosexuality, immodesty, profanity, not respecting places of worship, loud music and sounds, dating, and taking pictures without permission are the 8 listings.

With the use of Google reverse image search, the picture was first uploaded on a Twitter page “Reflect Respect”. It is part of a campaign to “contribute to the consolidation of Islamic principles which promotes the Qatari identity.”

Alcohol is illegal in Qatar, but tourists can consume it in public, according to official regulations. Going out inebriated and travelling with alcohol are illegal. According to BBC reports, World Cup ticket holders will be able to purchase alcohol “in limited places” outside of stadiums prior to kickoff and until the game’s conclusion. Additionally, alcohol will be for sale in the capital city of Doha’s 40,000-person fan zone.

Qatar is open to the LGBTQ community, however everyone is advise to respect their country’s traditions. According to The Guardian, supporters of LGBT+ people will not face discrimination in Qatar if they refrain from disrespecting the community by flying rainbow flags over mosques or hold hands. Public display of affection is advise against.
