Arrested Vice Principal, two teachers For Alleged Sex Scandal

Ongoing investigations about the sex scandal in CCAS Kumba have led to the arrest of the Vice Principal and two other teachers are currently in the Kumba Central Prison. The Vice Principal, Obenengu William; a Sports teacher, Mukwelle Divine Mukwelle and a Geography teacher, Mende Lawrence Ngoh; are in custody since November 19. This is all part of the investigation of the sex scandal.

The CCAS Kumba sex scandal suspects have so far spent their third night at the detention facility, pending trail as investigations continue. The suspects will appear in court today. Days after the investigation, the suppose victim is interrogated by the commission inquiry.

The suppose victim at the centre of the allege scandal resurface on the school campus last week. She carries a new identity now; Jam Anita Akiambom, 18-year-old in Form Four. The victim was first identified as Mukete Wase, a Lower Sixth student. She claims to be rape by the principal Hon Atinda Martin Mboni.

Inquiry Commission Findings Into Sex Scandal

A source to The Guardian Post reveals that tension is amongst CCAS Kumba staff. Result from the inquiry will be release today. The findings of the commission, will permit culprits, if any, to be brought to book and save the image of the esteem school.

Arrest Due To Sex Scandal Becomes Political

The arrest and detention of Mende Lawrence Ngoh has led to serious political conflicts in Meme Division. Keen observers say the divide has now been very visible with the internal wrangling.  There is allegiance to the different party bigwigs in Meme. The Principal is a former Member of Parliament. He mention in his first statement the rumour of sex scandal is political. Golden Jubilee Preparations Intensify Despite Sex Scandal

Despite the tension rocking the institution, the administration, ex-students and the PTA are upbeat the school’s Golden Jubilee celebration, earmarked for March 2023, will go on as planned. Members of the Organising Committee met last Thursday to present details of the celebration. They set up a commissions that will be responsible for the success of the event. According to the President of the Organising Committee, Eric Rudibe, a Golden Jubilee Monument and a Sports Gymnasium, are amongst the things that would grace the celebration. The weeklong event will bring together ex-students from the institution.
